LET’S BUILD THE FUTURE
together
As a single mother, first-generation immigrant and human rights attorney and activist, I will fight alongside my neighbors to create lasting power for our community.
Why I’m Running
Our district faces systemic problems made worse by modern crises and the failures of elected officials. Housing, criminal justice, healthcare, public safety, and immigration systems weren’t designed to benefit hard working people like you. Changing the system requires an independent City Council Member who will be laser focused on one thing only, the needs of our community, and together we will fight for dignified and courageous policies. I have a proven track record of co-creating that systemic change, and I’m ready to take that work to City Hall to design a city that works for ALL of us.

Angela’s Platform
Affordable Green Housing
as a human right
It It is indefensible to have housing in collapse on one block and empty condominiums on the next. Truly affordable and healthy homes for all New Yorkers is within our reach.
GREEN AND DIGNIFIED WORK
as a human right
Climate change is a global emergency and we have a chance to boost living wage jobs and simultaneously close the wealth inequality gap.
SAFETY, WELLNESS & RECREATION
as a human right
Policies of violence have bankrupted our community. Our community becomes stronger and safer by investing in holistic services and structures that prevent harm and center wellness and our ability to thrive.
EDUCATIONAL EQUITY
as a human right
Our educational system is one of the most segregated in the country. Years of cuts have robbed generations of pathways towards life-affirming futures. Real community control can reverse these trends.
ECONOMIC PROSPERITY
FOR ALL
as a human right
Within a 15 minute walk, our district has the talent and resilience to drive economic growth and protect small business. We can close the wealth gap by harnessing equity and sustainability as our tools for economic development.
Leading Through a
Co-Governance Framework
Participation in policies and the systems that shape our lives is a human right. It’s time to go beyond speaking from the folding chair to leading and sharing power, from the block to City Hall.
