I’m Angela Fernandez and I’m running for NYC Council District 10, my home of Washington Heights, Inwood, and Marble Hill.  Our district is undergoing dramatic changes and requires an independent NY City Council Member who will work hand in hand with residents creating courageous and compassionate policies. Whether it be organizing at the grassroots or within traditional institutions of power, I have a proven track record of co-creating systemic changes that provide dignity and agency to frontline communities. 

As a single mother, first-generation immigrant and human rights attorney, I would be honored and humbled to walk this road alongside my neighbors to create lasting power for the people of District 10.
